Succeed to Lead Awarded Contract to Support HQMC DC P&R Budget and Execution Division
Northern Virginia – Succeed to Lead expanded its support to the US Marine Corps when it was awarded a contract to support the Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Programs and Resources (P&R) Budget and Execution (B&E) Division located at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. last month.
“We are very pleased to add HQMC to our client roster,” said Dr. Byron Cherry, STL’s CEO & President. The DC P&R department is the principal staff agency responsible to the Commandant of the Marine Corps for developing and defending Marine Corps financial requirements, policies, and programs. As part of its responsibilities, the DC P&R owns the Marine Corps program analysis and resource planning, programming, budgeting and execution (PPBE) processes, and serves as the principal adviser to the Commandant of the Marine Corps on all financial matters.
Some of the support STL employees provide to the Deputy Commandant include managerial accounting, fiscal coding strategies, complex financial analysis, and resource management. “For several years now, we have worked closely with the Marine Corps Systems Command in Quantico, Virginia, providing similar type of work,” continued Cherry. “The work in D.C. complements our capabilities while allowing us to expand our business reach. We hope to continue this trend in 2014,” he said
