Northern Virginia – Succeed to Lead is now assisting the Marine Corps in determining the feasibility and advisability of establishing a National Capital Region Disbursing Office. This past week, Marine Headquarters awarded STL a contract to develop a detailed business case analysis that would allow leaders to determine how best to either centralize or better manage Headquarters Marine Corps, Programs & Resources (P&R), Resources Fiscal Finances (RFF) operational finance functions.
In January, STL began supporting the Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Programs and Resources (P&R) Budget and Execution (B&E) Division located at the Pentagon and since 2011, STL employees have supported the financial management services of the Marine Corps Systems Command in Quantico, Virginia.
“STL has a high level of interest in the Marine Corps financial management system as we have worked closely with them over several years. We believe our first-hand experience with the Marine Corps and its finance systems/operations makes us an ideal partner in helping the government plan the future of the same,” said Dr. Byron Cherry, STL’s CEO & President.
Over the next several months, consultants from STL will conduct a detailed analysis of the current situation and then provide an in-depth description of a possible solution as well as any additional alternatives or considerations.
